🎓 I graduated from NTU's MSc Data Science.

Today is NTU Convocation Day! It means I’m no longer a Master’s student – I am now a proud alumnus of the College of Computing and Data Science.

The graduation is just a formal ceremony: my degree had been conferred a month prior, my actual study finished 3 months earlier, and my growth and transformation happened wayyy before that. Still, it feels great to celebrate this occassion; after all, it is the culmination of years of continuous efforts.

Joining the convocation with me is my family. It is a great privilege that not many international students have, I will cherish this for years to come.

I am, of course, extremely thankful for the journey at NTU. The mentorship and friendship I received have been life-changing.

My appreciation goes to Prof. Sourav Bhowmick – my program director who also taught me for three courses, Prof. Boyang Li and Prof. Wooi Boon Goh for inspiring me so much in the Deep Learning and Data Visualization course respectively, along with other professors who have guided me during my study. I am extremely grateful for the research opportunities as well, first with Prof. Siddharth Natarajan from NBS, and then at Continental-NTU Corplab with Prof. Shang-wei Lin, Dr. Yon Shin Teo and Prof. Wenya Wang.

Huge shoutouts to my MSDS classmate Tuan Le, Catherine, Yuheng, Kelvin, Mark, Ali and others; and my dear friends Minh Truong, Giang Le and Vy Le. Special congratulations to Tuan Le, Minh Truong and Giang Le who also graduated in this period.
